This half term I was back out on the RAPP Van with the Team. I enjoyed catching up with everyone in the car park at East Hampshire County Council before we set off. I worked the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday both weeks of half term as I had a few blog tasks to get sorted on the first Monday and I am off to UK Blog Awards on the second Friday.
I have previously blogged about my experience on RAPP, so if your interested go check that post. This time I'm going to write about the two coolest sessions that I got to see and participate in this half term.
Charlie The Magician
I have seen a few different Magicians / Clowns / Jesters / Wizards as part of RAPP over the years. In the last 6 months we have had different performers and its been great to see different types of delivery. Charlie was extremely funny creating a great rapport with adults and children alike. There was a fair amount of 'dad jokes' that were amazing! The eyeball 'iPhone' and January sales (being where ship props were brought) were hilarious, not to mention juggling with one hand (plastic hand used).
There were children's magic tricks that had the adults thinking and kept our young people entertained for 2 hours! Those of you that have looked after or have your own little people know how amazing this is! I would happily recommend Charlie for any future children's events, he is great.

DrumRunners
Just like Charlie's session the children had so much fun I couldn't get a photo without a child in it so this will have to be shown by another empty room pre session photo.
Paul, who Ive seen lead meany sessions before was great. Towards the end of the 2 hour session he had everyone playing a song, with 5 different groups and rhythms going on. Not bad for a group of 30+ mainly 4 and 5 years olds. I also have to mention the pure joy and humour children and adults had from Paul's voice changer, which could have probability lasted 45 - 60 minutes on its own.

There were other great sessions too, but these were my favourite. I did also enjoy a few craft activities over the last two weeks.
I hope you all have had a great half term (those that get them). Tomorrow I am off to London for the UK Blog Awards, so typing and posting this before I get ready. Have a great weekend everyone.
